To all my favorite moms and women who have moms or who miss (but will always love) their moms …           A Newborn's Conversation with God       A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow,   but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"     God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."     The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have   to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."     God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you.   And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."     Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand   when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"     God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words   you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will   teach you how to speak."     "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"     God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach   you how to pray."     "Who will protect me?"     God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."     "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."     God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach   you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."     At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth   could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave   now, please tell me my angel's name."     God said, You will simply call her, "Mom."

The angel of February is the angel of patience.

During the dark, blustery nights of February, when nature is in a deep chill and we long for a sign of warmth and life, this angel can help us learn to await with grace the first signs of spring.  February's angel teaches us that winter has it's own special peace, that being snowbound or staying indoors can give us a welcome respite from the busyness of life.

In February, we can complete unfinished projects and prepare for new initiatives in the spring.  The angel of February brings us the gift of patience, helping us to enjoy the solitude and quiet of the winter, guiding us to replenish our energy for the warm, busy days ahead.

              Someone Cares....

Dear Heavenly Father In Heaven,

My son had to die, I really don't know why.

Father, I love you, I praise you, I cry out for strength.

Father, I thank you so much for Michael's life.

Although it was so short in length.

Oh father it was so hard to lose my son. He was only

28, and he was so young.

Father you blessed me with Michael to have and to hold.

But yet he never lived to be very old.

I will always have my precious memories. Of the life my

Michael lived.

I just want to thank you father for blessing me with 28

Just four short years ago. We lost our precious son Michael, I hear myself say.

But the people I am telling this to just don't care or just don't understand. They turn a slowly walk away.

I then stop and realize they don't understand. I'm not telling them this for any sympathy or to get a helping hand.

I just want to remain them, I've lost something so dear to me. I want to let them know my child Michael was here.

Michael left something so special and dear behind which no one can see. Michael made a person in my family.

So when I speak of him, and if that up-sets you. I'm so sorry as I can be. You will have to forgive me, this is something I could not resist.

I just only want people to know that Michael my precious child did exist.

He was murdered four years ago today and he is truely loved and missed.

DEAR GAIL,

I Have a Place in Heaven

Please don't sing sad songs for me,

Forget your grief and fears,

For I am in a perfect place

Away from pain and tears.

It's far away from hunger

And hurt and want and pride,

I have a place in Heaven

With the Master at my side.

My life on earth was very good,

As earthly life can go,

But Paradise is so much more

Than anyone can know.

My heart is filled with happiness

And sweet rejoicing, too.

To walk with God is perfect peace,

A joy forever new.
